BROWNSBURG – The Lady Rocks traveled to take on a very tough Brownsburg squad on Friday night. The Bulldogs defense proved to be too much for the Lady Rocks as they fell by a final score of 44-31. 

The team was able to keep things close with Brownsburg in the first half, trailing 19-16 at halftime. But a 10-3 third quarter proved to be the difference in the loss for the Lady Rocks. Brownsburg added in 15 more points in the final quarter as they were able to outscore Westfield in every quarter of play. 

Chesney finished with 13 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Rocks on the night. Alli Becki led all scorers with 17 for the Lady Bulldogs and Allison Bosse finished right behind her with 16 points. 

The loss for the Lady Rocks drops their record to 13-9 (3-4 HCC) on the season. The team will play its final game of the regular season on Tuesday night as they celebrate senior night against Greensburg (17-3).  

Parrish, Royals defense take down Eagles

FISHERS – The Hamilton Southeastern Lady Royals hosted HCC opponent Zionsville on Friday night and were led by newly announced McDonald’s All-American, Senior Sydney Parrish who led the Royals with 26 points as they defeated Zionsville 52-38. 

The Royals defense couldn’t have played a better final quarter as they held Zionsville to zero points as they pulled away for the win. 

The victory for the Lady Royals improves their record to 19-2 (6-1 HCC) on the season. The team will be back in action on Tuesday as they celebrate Parrish and the rest of the senior class in a matchup against Pike (2-14). 

Golden Eagles dominant defense leads to win over Brebeuf

INDIANAPOLIS – The Guerin Catholic Lady Golden Eagles traveled to take on Circle City Conference opponent Brebeuf on Friday night. An all-around dominate defensive display by the Golden Eagles earned them a 41-17 win over Brebeuf. 

The win improves their record to 8-12 (1-4 CCC) on the season. They will be back in action on Tuesday night as they travel to Decatur Central (9-10). 

Greyhounds dominate Red Devils 
The Carmel Lady Greyhounds traveled to take on Pike High School on Friday night and put on an absolutely dominate display of basketball on both sides of the floor as they took home a 73-36 win over the Red Devils. 

The win for the Lady Hounds improves their record to 13-7 (4-2 MIC) on the season. They will return to action on Tuesday as they host Cathedral (13-8).
