The University Trailblazers used a strong second half to earn a 57-38 win at home over the Pendleton Heights Arabians Friday.

David Howard scored a game-high 17 for the ‘Blazers, who only led by one at the half. University was able to put some separation on the scoreboard in the third quarter — holding Pendleton Heights to five points — while putting up 13. The Trailblazers outscored the Arabians 21-11 in the fourth.

Ethan Sickles finished second in points for University with nine. Sam Mervis and Foster Flamion scored eight each. Josh Hodgin and Josh Watson both both contributed five points.

The Trailblazers shot 17-of-37 from the floor as a team, including 10-of-22 from deep.

Howard and Hodgin tied for a team-high with seven rebounds each.

University moves to 12-1 with the win.
