CARMEL - The University boys' basketball team defeated Indiana School for the Deaf on Thursday night 64-54.

Following a 10-point lead after the first quarter, the Trailblazers never looked back behind a strong shooting performance from Tyler Diehl.

Diehl scored 26 points off of 9 of 12 shooting. Six of his nine field goals made were from behind the 3-point line. He also added five rebounds to complement his big offensive performance

Helping Diehl was Connor Holly, who scored 15 points with more than half of them from the free-throw line. He was 8 of 9 from the charity stripe. Holly also added one 3-pointer and had a team-high eight rebounds.

Westfield natives Colton Crace and Cody Crace finished with five and 11 points, respectively for Indiana Deaf.

Preston Kelly, a Fishers native, led the team with 17 points. Lance Wood, who is from Fishers, matched his teammate with a team-high 17 points.

University moves to 13-8 on the season.
