The University Trailblazers girls basketball team got revenge for November’s loss to the Bethesda Christian Patriots at the Monrovia Tournament on Wednesday night with a 59-52 win.

Sophomore Lindsey Syrek led the Trailblazers in scoring with 28 points, and she also pulled down 14 rebounds.

The Trailblazers trailed by 11 at halftime but used a 20-9 third quarter to even the score heading to the fourth. University outscored the Patriots 15-10 in the final eight minutes and moved to 12-3 on the season.
