INDIANAPOLIS - The University Trailblazers boys' basketball team had an up-and-down time against the Tindley Tigers on Friday night but ultimately fell 68-59.

The Blazers (6-6) were down by as much as 11 points and were as close as two to the Tigers (6-6) on the road.

With the exception of a second-quarter slumber the Blazers' offense was keeping pace with the Tigers. The Blazers scored in double digits in three periods of play including two 20-point efforts in the third and fourth quarters.

The Blazers outscored the Tigers 40-38 in the second half and barring that second-quarter drought might have come away with the win.

The loss gives the Blazers their only blemish against Class A opponents. Prior to last night's match up the Blazers were 5-0 against Class A foes.

The Trailblazers will be back at home tonight as they host the Indianapolis Metropolitan Pumas at 7:30 p.m. The Blazers beat the Pumas (5-6) last season by 12 points by a score of 65-53.
