Noblesville girls lacrosse gets 11-10 win over Chatard
After two weather related game cancelations, the Millers began their season with an overtime win against the Bishop Chatard Trojans, 11-10. Kylie Morris led the Millers with five goals, including the game winning goal in overtime. Erin Wilson led the defensive effort with six ground balls. Kam Mertens caused four turnovers.

Fishers girls lacrosse beats Brownsburg
The Fishers Tigers responded after a tough loss to Evansville North by defeating Hoosier Crossroads Conference opponent Brownsburg by a score of 17-2 on Tuesday night. The defense led by Emily Guaspohl, Gracie Bicknell, Abigail Garrison, and Anna Schnefke limited Brownsburg's opportunities with turnovers that led to 17 goals. The Tiger midfield continued to score in bunches led by Skylar Fulton (5 goals 1 assist), Nina Dilliard (4 goals 1 assist), and Mac Miller (2 goals). Stephanie Wright led the attack with 2 goals on 3 shots. Aleris Crum, Renata Garcia, and Sarah Peterson each score one goal. The Tigers will host North Central today at Fishers Tiger Stadium against North Central. Varsity game time is 6:30 p.m.

HSE girls lacrosse tops Heritage Christian
After the Heritage Christian Eagle scored first, the Hamilton Southeastern Royals put up 15 unanswered goals on their way to a 21-5 victory on Tuesday. Every player on the varsity roster logged solid minutes as the starters got some rest. Cam Smith ended the night with 7 goals and 2 assist. Ryan Kemp chipped in a goal and 3 assist and Garrett Smith added 2 goals and an assist but it was senior H. Bond that came away with the game ball with his first hat trick of the year. Freshman Nolan Knies also added 3 caused turnovers and 3 ground balls. The Royals had 11 players total in the scoring column.

Guerin girls lacrosse defeats Park Tudor
The Guerin Catholic girls lacrosse team rebounded from a loss on Saturday with a 24 -14 win over Park Tudor on Tuesday night. Guerin Catholic broke out to an early lead and were up by 7 but Park Tudor rallied to pull within 2 and closed out the half only down by 3. The Golden Eagles came out strong in the second half and extended the lead to 11 and ended with a final score of 24-14. Guerin was led by Sophomore Carly Wilson with 5 goal and 4 assists and was helped out by fellow teammate Junior Sami Bischof with 5 goals and 2 assists and Senior Anya Glodowski with 3 goals and 3 assists. The Golden Eagles are back in action next Monday, March 25, when the visit Heritage Christian.

Noblesville softball beats Western Boone
The Millers defeated Western Boone 12-0 on Tuesday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Baily Ryan induced a fly out from Western Boone to finish off the game. The Millers opened up scoring in the first inning, when Ella White hit a solo homer and finished the game when they notched five runs in the sixth inning. The Millers scored its final runs on a home run by Julia Furiak. Maddie Taylor earned the victory in the circle for Millers. She allowed four hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out ten and walking zero. Ryan threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. The Millers tallied two home runs on the day: Julia Furiak put one out in the sixth inning and Ella White went for the long ball in the first inning. The Millers collected ten hits on the day. Julia Furiak and Rylie Moore all had multiple hits for Millers.

Fishers softball tops Kokomo
After a rocky start, the Fishers varsity softball team battled back to earn a 6-3 victory against Kokomo on Monday night. Seven hitters collected 10 hits, with none bigger than Brooke Benson's two-out double in the sixth to plate Olivia Stinson and Courtney James. Hannah Mays followed with another double to bring Benson around for the 6-3 final. Benson, Mays, and Stinson each had two hits, while Jade Frye, Kaylee Kardash, Caroline Berhardt, and Courtney James each had one. James also collected two walks along the way.

HSE softball tops Carmel 14-1
The HSE varsity softball team opened up the 2019 season with a 14-1 win over Carmel on Tuesday night. Jaylah Guilliam was the winning pitcher with 5 strong innings. Abby Taylor led the Royals with 4 hits. Lillian Leiner hit a triple and home run and 4 RBI’s. Olivia Capuano hit a home run and had 4 RBI’s. Nicole Lang and Kennedy Morgan both hit home runs.

HSE boys volleyball falls to Franklin
The Royals lost a tough battle with the No. 6 ranked Franklin Community Grizzly Bears last night 22-25, 18-25 and 14-25. The boys continue to improve and are playing well against ranked opponents. “With a roster full of first year players,” their coach said. “We making improvements every match.”
