Wabash College senior Bryan Roberts earned North Coast Athletic Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week honors for his efforts in the Little Giants' 5-0 win over Allegheny College Saturday in the opening game of the conference schedule.

The right-hander pitched a three-hit, nine-inning complete game shutout against the Gators to improve to 5-0 on the season. He surrendered one walk with five strikeouts and lowered his season Earned Run Average to 1.05. He currently leads NCAC pitchers in ERA and ranks 34th overall among Division III hurlers. His 39 strikeouts are also the most by an NCAC pitcher to this point in the season. Roberts is the only pitcher in the conference with five victories and is tied for fifth in the nation in wins.

Roberts' selection as NCAC Pitcher of the Week marks the third time this season he has earned the award. He also earned the award March 19 and Feb. 26. Roberts attended Hamilton Southeastern High School. He threw a no-hitter against Wittenberg on April 13, 2016.
