Noblesville football head coach Jason Simmons is going back to Ben Davis.

The school approved the hire at Monday’s school board meeting. Simmons, 42, served as Noblesville’s head coach for the last two seasons, where he guided the Millers to a 5-15 record.

Simmons has also coached at Hamilton Heights, as well as an assistant at Ben Davis from 2006-08. The Giants won their ninth state title last season.
