Hamilton Heights softball team pulled out a 6-5 win over Westfield Tuesday night.

Taylor Ewing hit a lead-off home run for the Lady Huskies, who scored four runs in the first inning.

“We played a pretty good game tonight coming off of (Monday’s) loss,” said Hamilton Heights head coach Landi Lockwood. “We did a much better job at the plate and, minus a couple of errors, played pretty solid on defense. “

Westfield scored four runs in the sixth inning off of Huskies’ starter Adyson Baber, who pitched a complete game and allowed five runs, four earned.

The Huskies started the seventh inning with another lead-off hit by Ewing and then took the lead for good on a Baber sacrifice fly.
