No. 9 Brownsburg got all it could handle in a 60-54 overtime win at Fishers Wednesday.

Jeremy Szilagyi scored a game-high 17 points for the Tigers, who weren’t able to hold on to a second-half lead.

Both teams struggled to score on the offensive end of the floor in the first, and Brownsburg held a 9-8 lead after the quarter.

The Bulldogs maintained their one-point lead going into halftime with a score of 19-18.

In the 3rd quarter, the Tigers offense came alive, scoring 20 points in the quarter. The Tigers took their first lead of the game at 38-36.

In the 4th quarter, both teams continued to battle. At the end of regulation, the score was tied at 49-49, sending the game into overtime. The Bulldogs took control in the extra period and pulled out the victory.

Terry Hicks chipped in with 11 points for Fishers, and Willie Jackson had 10 points. Alex Szilagyi came off the bench and scored eight.

The Tigers drop to 6-7 on the season and 0-3 in conference play. Fishers is back in action on at Avon Friday. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
