A slow first half doomed the Fishers Lady Tigers Tuesday at Lawrence North. The Wildcats held the Tigers to just 10 points in the first two quarters and held on for a 52-41 win.

Toni Grace led the Tigers in points with 13, while Tamia Perryman chipped in with six points, seven rebounds and three steals.

The Wildcats led by six after one, and stretched their lead to 24-10 at the half. The Tigers came alive in the second half, outscoring the Wildcats 16-15 in the third and 15-13 in the fourth, but the late rally wasn’t enough to bring them within striking distance.

Fishers has dropped three of its last four contests, although the schedule has not been easy. Fishers’ three most recent losses have come at the hands of Brownsburg, Carmel and LN.

The Tigers wrap up their regular season Friday, as they travel to Franklin Central. Fishers (11-11, 2-4) hosts Westfield (13-8, 2-4) in the sectional opener on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
