Kelcy Welch, the 2013 IHSAA state cross-country champion, placed 14th in 17:55.1, while Ben Veatch led the Greyhound boys with a 28th-place finish (15:32.32).

Chili Supper and Bake Sale

Over the Thanksgiving weekend, Sean Bische, a long-time rec coach for both Fishers Youth Basketball and Baseball, passed away in a motorcycle accident. He is survived by his wife Kristi and two sons Noah, an eighth grader at Fishers Junior High, and Cole, a 5th grader at Sand Creek Intermediate.
Prior to and during the HSE-Noblesville Boys/Girls Basketball doubleheader this Friday night, the HSE High School Athletic Department, Fishers Jr. High Athletic Department, Fishers Youth Basketball and Baseball Leagues are joining together to host in Sean's honor, a Chili Supper and Bake Sale Fundraiser to benefit the Educational Trust Fund for Noah and Cole.

Holiday Volleyball Camp Set At Carmel HS

Carmel High School's highly successful volleyball program, which has produced back-to-back Class 4A State runner-up finishes and finished the past season ranked No. 5 nationally, will conduct its Third Annual Holiday Camp (Thursday January 2 & Friday January 3) at the Carmel High School Fieldhouse.
