WESTFIELD – Westfield’s Viper Aquatics swim club has announced it will partner with Indiana Swimming and USA Swimming to co-host the Arena Pro Swim Series meet at the IUPUI natatorium in Indianapolis from March 2-4, 2017.

The Arena Pro Swim Series stop in Indianapolis brings some of the fastest swimmers in the world to compete for cash and series points over the three day meet. 2016 Olympic team members Nathan Adrian, Katie Meilie and Kevin Cordes are all scheduled to appear. Several Indianapolis-area swimmers who have been part of National teams, or have national qualifying times are also expected to compete. Television coverage will take place on the NBC sports networks.

Viper Aquatics parent volunteers have been planning since November and will be staffing all aspects of the meet, both “on-deck” and off.

“When Indiana Swimming approached us about this opportunity, we knew we couldn’t pass it up,” said Andrea Todd, club President. “This is a great opportunity for our Westfield families to be on deck with world class swimmers and gain experience in meet operations as we look to grow our program in 2017.”
